The bookshelves on either side of the fireplace are old kitchen cupboard we found at a salvage store a couple of years ago. They've been languishing in the garage ever since, ignored except for Jonny's occasional expletives at them for taking up too much space. We've refurbished them but have to finish the doors before we can attach them to the walls and fill them with books.
